I took this photograph at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden outside the Walker Art Museum. In an attempt to be original and take a photo of something other than that fantastically wet spoon with a cherry, this is what I came up with. (That sentence was unusually long and tough to write for some reason…)
There is a great quote in Chase Jarvis‘s book, The Best Camera Is The One That Is With You, that says, “There are 10 great pictures to take within 10 feet of where you are standing right now.”
The funny thing is… Chase is right!
Whenever I am in a place that is over photographed, or when I am sitting around home, I challenge myself with this: There is always something interesting. You just have to find it.
